The Giant Anteater has visited the capital again. This time around the trio played in the Weberknecht as part of the Gürtel Connection Festival. The athmosphere in the dark catacomb was dense and it is evident that this band should be slotted after midnight when people are willing to move due to drug influence.
All of this was shot with the EOS 3 paired with the Canon 50mm f1.4 on Fujifilm Superia 400, pushed by one stop but exposed at EI3200. The old lady had it’s fair amount of trouble finding the focus, but maybe I am just spoiled by the virtues of the Fuji XT2 – may god have mercy on her soul. All in all: concert photography on film works… but the pain is real: 35mm is grainy, scans semi-bad on my Epson V600 and like hell I will spot out the dust on 6 rolls of film.
